The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy has unveiled The Creative Hub Project, a transformative initiative launched in partnership with the French Republic. This project is designed to strengthen Nigeria’s creative industry and provide job opportunities for young Nigerians through international collaboration and digital innovation.
Speaking on the partnership, the Ministry stated, “The Creative Hub Project is a visionary project being developed in partnership with the French Republic.” It highlights a clear effort to advance the digital economy and stimulate growth in the creative sector.
A major feature of the initiative is The Animation Hub, which aims to position Nigeria as a leader in animation across Africa. “It reflects a promise made in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Manifesto to empower youth and create jobs through innovation and international collaboration in the digital space,” the Ministry noted.
In addition, the Fashion and Craft Hub will bring together artisans, designers, and entrepreneurs in one central space to innovate and grow. The Ministry promises more hubs nationwide, saying, “Stay tuned for further updates and additional hubs set to be delivered across the country.”
