The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially opened its online accreditation portal for journalists and media houses interested in covering the upcoming bye-elections slated for 16th August, 2025.
According to INEC, “The portal for media accreditation opens on Tuesday, 8th July, 2025.” All media organisations wishing to deploy reporters are required to apply via https://imap.inecnigeria.org.
The Commission stressed that, “Late submission shall not be entertained as the portal will automatically shut down at 12:00am (Midnight) on Thursday, 31st July, 2025.”
