Abia Soccer Fest 2025 Kicks Off with 200+ Matches Across LGAs

The Abia Soccer Fest 2025 has officially kicked off, bringing together football lovers across Abia State. Tagged “From the grassroots to greatness,” the tournament features over 200 matches spanning every Local Government Area (LGA) in the state.

Organizers say the goal is to “unite communities, discover talents, and celebrate the spirit of football in Abia.” The tournament begins at the ward level, progresses to the LGA stage, and ends at the state level.

It is powered by the Abia State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, and the LOC.
