Cross River CSC Begins Orientation for Newly Recruited Public Servants

The Government of Cross River State has announced a two-day orientation training for the first batch of the newly recruited public servants in the state civil service.

This program is part of the final stage of the ongoing recruitment exercise aimed at filling vacancies in the Cross River State Public Service.

According to a statement issued by the Cross River State Civil Service Commission, “The training will be conducted in four batches of 500 persons each, drawn from different cadres and across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.”

The orientation is being organized by the Cross River State Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission. It is designed to help new employees understand their roles, responsibilities, and the structure of government operations.

“The list of the first batch of 500 persons is now available for public information,” said Sir Maurice Effiwatt, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission.

Details on the dates and venue of the orientation will be provided by the Ministry of Establishment, Pensions and Training later this week, according to the announcement.
