The Edo State Board for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (BTVET) has officially announced the dates for its upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT) assessment for the ongoing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) recruitment exercise.
According to a public notice issued on July 25, 2025, the CBT assessment is scheduled to hold from Monday, July 28 to Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The examination will run all through the three days beginning at 12:00 pm daily.
“All shortlisted candidates are advised to come with their original credentials and be fully prepared for the entire assessment process,” the notice stated.
The Board added that successful candidates from the CBT stage will be notified of their personal interview dates in due course.
The Executive Chairman of BTVET, Barrister Onomen Goodness Briggs, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to workforce development, saying, “The Edo State Board for Technical and Vocational Education is committed to building a skilled, dynamic, and innovative workforce for Edo State. We value both practical competence and certification.”

This exercise forms part of the state’s broader drive for youth empowerment and digital skills development.
