The Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (ADSPHCDA) has announced the recruitment of Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs) across all 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
The exercise is part of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency’s (NPHCDA) new redesign of the Community-Based Health Workers Programme.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid Junior Community Health Worker certificate from a recognized and registered institution.
Suitable and qualified candidates must possess a certificate in Junior Community Health Worker (JCHEWs) from a recognized registered institution.
The application process will be free of charge and will run from August 12 to August 26, 2025.
How to apply:
Interested candidates are expected to submit their applications at the Office of the Executive Secretary of their respective Local Government Primary Health Care Authorities.
The agency further noted that shortlisted candidates will be informed of their interview dates through media announcements, the agency’s notice boards, and those of the Primary Health Care Authorities.
Hajiya Binta Yusuf, Director of Administration and Human Resources, signed the notice on behalf of the Executive Chairman. Copies of the announcement were sent to the Executive Secretaries of all 21 PHCAs in Adamawa State.
