August 15, 2025 – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has addressed concerns from students over the delay in releasing the new syllabus study packs ahead of the November 2025 examinations.
In a public notice, the Institute acknowledged the “concern” and “anxiety” of candidates, assuring that the matter is receiving its highest priority. According to ICAN, the updated study packs will be available by the end of August 2025.
Registrar and Chief Executive, Lanre Olasunkanmi, Ph.D., FCA, stated, “Every effort is made to ensure that the contents meet the Institute’s rigorous quality standards for global best practices and provide students with the best possible preparation for your examinations.”
ICAN encouraged candidates to continue studying with existing resources, including past questions, reference texts, and peer discussions. The Institute reiterated its commitment to student success, saying, “Your success remains our commitment,” while appreciating their patience.
