August 20, 2025 – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a fresh update concerning the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) process. In a statement, the board confirmed that the upload of the 2025 WAEC result has been reactivated for all candidates.
Recall that JAMB temporarily closed the 2025 WASSCE result upload portal. This development is crucial for admission processes into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
“Dear UTME candidates, this is to notify you that upload of the 2025 WAEC result has been reactivated. Kindly visit any of our accredited facilities near you to access the service. Thank you,” the statement from JAMB read.
JAMB emphasized that candidates must strictly use accredited centers to complete this process, ensuring that their academic records are properly updated in the system.
This update is expected to help institutions verify results and fast-track admission screenings for the 2025 academic session. Candidates are urged not to delay in visiting approved facilities to avoid disruptions in their admission journey.
