The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has begun the disbursement of financial assistance to 759 Delta State students currently in the Nigerian Law School for the 2023/2024 academic session, following the approval of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Speaking in Asaba, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita, confirmed that the beneficiaries are graduates of the Nigerian Law School and urged them to follow the submission guidelines.
“The affected students are expected to scan and send the following documents to the Board’s official email address, dsbsb@deltastate.gov.ng, or alternatively forward them via WhatsApp to 07037429816 between August 19, 2025 and September 2, 2025,” he stated.

ii. Call to Bar Certificate
iii. Valid ID Card
iv. Local Government Identification Letter
Dr. Enita further advised the beneficiaries to contact Otogie Godspower on 07037429816 for any additional enquiries regarding the financial assistance.
This initiative, delivered through the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, is part of the state government’s ongoing educational support program.
According to Dr. Enita, the financial aid represents Governor Oborevwori’s resolve to strengthen opportunities for young professionals. He noted that the move is consistent with the Governor’s MORE Agenda, which focuses on meaningful development, opportunities for youths, reforms, and enhanced welfare.
