The Ministry of Interior has launched the Interior Electronic Records and Archival System, known as IntERAS, under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. The event was witnessed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, along with other top government officials.
According to Dr. Tunji-Ojo, IntERAS represents a major advancement in modernizing government operations and boosting service delivery. “This is part of The President’s Renewed Hope plan to fully automate all government agencies,” the Minister said.
For the Interior Ministry, IntERAS adds to ongoing reforms in passport services, visa applications, landing and exit cards, and CERPAC processes. The Minister also commended his team, led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, for their role in ensuring the success of this important launch.
