The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE) has announced the release of results for the recently concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) for aspiring teachers in the state. Candidates who participated in the exercise have been advised to log into their respective dashboards to confirm their performance.
According to the notice, applicants are to regularly monitor their dashboards for updates regarding the next stage of the recruitment process. The ministry explained that invitations for interviews will be communicated through the same platform, where shortlisted candidates will find details of their interview date, time, and venue.
In addition, candidates have been urged to keep their registered phone lines active and within reach, as MOBSE may contact applicants directly, as was done during the CBT phase.
The ministry further stressed the importance of early preparation, advising candidates to begin getting ready for the interview stage without delay.
Required Documents for Interview
Successful applicants are expected to present original copies of relevant credentials during the interview. These include birth certificate or age declaration, First School Leaving Certificate, and WAEC or NECO certificates.
Other required documents are NCE, HND, Degree, Masters or PhD certificates, noting that statements of result will not be accepted for candidates who graduated more than five years ago. Applicants must also provide their NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate.
Where applicable, candidates are to present their Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate, alongside printouts of their online application form and CBT result.
Furthermore, a timestamped BVN printout, not older than two weeks before the interview date, as well as a National Identification Number (NIN) card or printout, will be required.
Interview Schedule and Advisory
The interview exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, March 24 to Saturday, March 28, 2026, according to an earlier announcement by the ministry.
Candidates who have obtained the interview guide have been encouraged to carefully study the instructions, expected questions, and proper conduct during the exercise.
The ministry wished all applicants success as they progress to the final stage of the recruitment process.
