The Adamawa State Civil Service Commission has completed the screening of candidates who applied for the ongoing civil service recruitment into the state workforce. Out of 96,102 applicants, only 52,003 were found eligible to move to the next stage of the employment process.

In a press release signed by Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the Commission outlined key reasons why many candidates were disqualified. These include submission of incomplete documents, wrong application details, mismatched qualifications, and failure to meet age requirements.

“Some candidates applied with NCE qualifications, which were not part of the initial requirements,” the statement read. “Others submitted incorrect documents, while a number were already working with local government councils.”

The Commission also disqualified non-indigenes of Adamawa State and those who submitted applications that didn’t match the advertised roles.

“We urge all applicants to ensure they possess the requisite documents and qualifications to avoid disqualification,” the government added, stressing that the process remains transparent and fair.
