Adamawa to begin new Fintiri Business Wallet Programme for 72,000 beneficiaries

The Adamawa State Government has announced the commencement of another phase of the Fintiri Business Wallet Programme aimed at supporting micro and small business owners across the state.

The announcement was made in an official notice issued by the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA), under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development, Yola.

According to the statement dated May 12, 2026, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri approved the new phase of the programme as part of efforts to strengthen small businesses and improve economic activities in Adamawa State.

PAWECA said about 72,000 beneficiaries are expected to benefit from the latest phase of the initiative.

“The Management of PAWECA wishes to inform the good people of Adamawa State that His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the commencement of another Phase of Fintiri Business Wallet Program to support Micro and Small Business Owners across the State,” the agency stated.

The agency also disclosed that distribution of application forms would begin before the end of the week across the 21 Local Government Areas of the state.

The Fintiri Business Wallet Programme is one of the empowerment initiatives introduced by the Adamawa State Government to provide financial support and business opportunities for small-scale entrepreneurs.
