The Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB), in collaboration with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), has officially commenced a 5-day workshop under the Strengthening Mathematics and Science Education (SMASE) Cycle 3 program. The training is targeted at Basic Education teachers from all 21 local government areas in the state and is aimed at improving the teaching and learning of science and mathematics in primary and junior secondary schools.
The workshop, which runs from June 30 to July 4, 2025, is being held in two training centers: Yola and Jada. The Yola Centre accommodates teachers from Fufore, Song, Gombi, Girei, Yola South, and Yola North, while the Jada Centre covers Mayo, Jada, Ganye, and Tongo local government areas.
