Ahmadu Bello University Announces Sale of SBRS Admission Form for 2025/2026 Session

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of admission forms for its School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS), Funtua, for the 2025/2026 academic session. The sale will begin on Monday, 30th June, 2025.

In a statement released on Thursday, 26th June, 2025, the university management explained the procedure for prospective students to apply for the programme. Interested candidates are to visit the SBRS website at sbrs.abu.edu.ng to begin the application process.

Applicants are expected to click on ‘Create Account’ and provide their surname, first name, other names (if available), gender, a valid email address, and create a password. Those who already have an account can simply log in using their email and password.

Candidates can then select their preferred programme. The available programmes include Remedial and Basic (IJMB ‘A’ Level) options. Under Remedial Science, there are four subject combinations, such as English, Biology, Chemistry, and Geography, among others. The Basic Science programme also offers six different combinations, including options like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Chemistry, Geography, and Physics.

After choosing the desired programme, applicants are required to update their profile with accurate biodata, contact details, O’Level results, and a recent passport photograph.

The university also provided details on how to purchase the admission form. According to the statement, “Candidates should click on ‘Buy Form’, then select ‘Pay Online’. Payment can be made instantly with an ATM card or by printing the transaction slip and paying at any commercial bank.”

The application form costs Ten Thousand Naira only (N10,000).

The sale of the admission forms will run from 30th June, 2025, and will officially close on 31st December, 2025.

This announcement is expected to attract many candidates, especially those seeking admission into remedial and IJMB programmes as part of their academic journey.
