The global stage is calling as AfriLabs announces the return of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), set to take place live at #BIBAN2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With over 20,000 startups from 180+ countries expected to compete, this is one of the world’s largest startup competitions.
AfriLabs shared in a recent statement, “This is more than a competition. It is your gateway to global recognition, funding, and opportunity.” The EWC offers a total of $1.5 million in cash prizes and post-prize support, making it a huge attraction for startups seeking investment, exposure, and mentorship.
Entrepreneurs from all stages, from idea to scaling, can apply. Innovators working in AI, DeepTech, SpaceTech, and other advanced fields are highly encouraged. Benefits include pitching live at Biban 2025, access to soft-landing programs, and connections to global investors.
“Whether you’re an idea-stage founder or scaling fast, this is your chance to compete, connect, and elevate,” the statement added.
Key dates include a June 30, 2025 deadline, with top 250 selections in July, virtual bootcamp in August, top 100 finalist announcement in September, and global finals from November 5-8, 2025.
