The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has opened applications for the 7th edition of its Entrepreneurship Training Program. In a major step toward helping small businesses grow in 2025, DBN is offering an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to receive key business training.
“This year’s program includes online learning modules and an in-person workshop in 12 locations across the six geo-political zones,” the organizers stated.
“Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your business to the next level, this program is designed for you.”
The training is tailored to provide essential business skills. Participants stand a chance to:
i. Get trained in essential business areas
ii. Join workshops across Nigeria
iii. Pitch and win a grant
Eligibility:
To qualify, interested applicants must enrol and complete at least the four mandatory courses:
i. Credit Management and Access to Finance
ii. Sustainability for Small Businesses
iii. Accounting and Bookkeeping
iv. Marketing and Sales Techniques
According to DBN, “This is your pathway to business success.” The initiative promotes access to finance, financial literacy, and small business development. The program is part of a broader plan to empower entrepreneurs and improve Nigeria’s economy by supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
