August 6, 2025 – The Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI), with support from the Center for Human Capital and Environmental Sustainability, has announced a scholarship programme for NYSC corps members across Nigeria.
The initiative is aimed at helping participants build professional skills in safety and management without paying any training fees. According to ESMI, the programme is approved by the Federal Ministry of Education.
“This scholarship helps the awardee to get trained in a professional course without paying the training fee,” the institute stated. However, applicants are required to pay a five thousand naira application fee before joining the class. ESMI explained that this measure is to ensure that “only serious-minded persons are admitted into the programme.”
