Applications are now open for the 2026 Katsina State SEMIS Teacher Recruitment. The exercise is being conducted by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MBASE) and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) through the official Katsina SEMIS portal. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for teaching positions at both primary and secondary school levels.
The MBASE recruitment is specifically for secondary school teachers, while SUBEB focuses on primary school teachers. Successful applicants will be responsible for teaching assigned subjects based on their qualifications and may be posted to their selected local government area.
For secondary school positions, applicants must possess a B.Ed in a relevant field or its equivalent, while an M.Ed is an added advantage. Those applying under SUBEB must have an NCE in a relevant field. All applicants must be willing to work in the LGA they choose during the application.
Applicants will be required to upload essential documents, including a birth certificate, indigene letter, and highest qualification certificate. Candidates are advised to apply for only one position, as multiple applications will lead to disqualification. It is also important to download the acknowledgement slip after completing the application.
