The Abia TechRise Cohort 3 programme is now open for applications, offering a rare opportunity for young people in Abia State to gain in-demand digital skills without financial burden. Designed as a fully residential training initiative, the programme focuses on preparing participants for real-world opportunities in technology, public service, and the global digital economy.
This initiative goes beyond basic training. It is structured to deliver intensive, hands-on learning over a period of 12 to 16 weeks, ensuring that participants are not only trained but also equipped to compete professionally.
What Participants Will Gain
The programme offers a comprehensive support system that removes common barriers to learning. Selected participants will benefit from:
- A brand-new laptop, preloaded with essential tools and software
- Free accommodation throughout the training period
- Three meals daily, eliminating feeding concerns
- Access to high-speed internet for research and collaboration
- Career support, including job placements and internship opportunities
- Exposure to expert-led training across ten high-demand digital fields
Top-performing participants may also receive employment opportunities, as seen in previous cohorts where outstanding graduates secured roles within the Abia State civil service.
