The Lagos State Government has opened applications for the Lagos State Graduate Internship Placement Programme (LSGIPP) with stipend. The programme, organised through the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, is designed to help young graduates gain practical work experience and improve their employability.
Participants will receive training in soft skills and business etiquette to prepare them for the modern workplace. Successful applicants will also be placed in a four-month internship with organisations across Lagos State, where they will receive stipends funded by the state government. Throughout the programme, interns will receive continuous support and performance assessment to help them grow professionally.
The initiative aims to help graduates move smoothly from education into employment. It also provides an opportunity to build valuable professional connections with employers in Lagos State while gaining real workplace experience.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a B.Sc. or HND in any field, have between 0–5 years of work experience, possess a Lagos State Resident Registration (LASRRA), and have completed the NYSC programme. Only new applicants are allowed.
