Applications are now open for the Young Men’s Network (YMN) Training of Trainers (ToT), a programme designed to equip young men with the knowledge and skills needed to promote positive masculinity and drive meaningful change in their communities. The call is open to young men who are passionate about leadership, youth development, and building safer, more inclusive communities.
The Young Men’s Network Against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence is an advocacy platform committed to ending gender-based violence (GBV) in Nigeria. The network works by empowering young male leaders to challenge harmful social norms, stereotypes, and toxic forms of masculinity that often contribute to violence and inequality. Through awareness, advocacy, and community engagement, the network promotes positive masculinity and gender equity across communities. With members already active in 10 states, YMN continues to expand its reach through partnerships, community initiatives, and digital engagement.
The Training of Trainers programme is designed to strengthen the capacity of selected participants by providing practical facilitation skills, knowledge, and tools needed to lead workshops and learning sessions effectively. Participants will also gain experience in engaging diverse audiences, encouraging open dialogue, and creating inclusive learning spaces that support behavioural change and community development.
The training will take place from 30 March to 1 April 2026 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Participants must be available for the full duration of the programme. Only selected candidates will be contacted after the application process.
