The Zamfara State Government has opened applications for the recruitment of Nurses and Midwives into the state civil service. The recruitment was approved by Governor Dauda Lawal as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare services across the state.

Qualified candidates who are citizens of Zamfara State by birth are invited to apply for the available positions. Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years old, physically and mentally fit for duty, and must not have any criminal record or history of dismissal from public service.

Eligibility Requirements
For Nurses, applicants must possess an RN Certificate or B.Sc. Nursing from an NMCN-accredited institution and have a valid practicing licence or evidence of registration.
For Midwives, applicants must possess an RM Certificate from an NMCN-accredited institution and have a valid practicing licence or evidence of registration.
Applicants must also have at least five O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
B.Sc. Nursing holders must present an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Foreign-trained applicants are required to provide an Adaptation Course Certificate.

Applicants must be willing to serve in any part of Zamfara State if selected. The government warned that false information or fake documents will lead to disqualification or prosecution.
