The Gombe Grassroots Movement (GGM) has officially announced its massive 2025 volunteer recruitment exercise, inviting indigenes of Gombe State to apply for various roles. According to the Founder and Co-ordinator of GGM, Ahmed Shuaibu-Gara, the organization is open to qualified residents who wish to contribute to community development.
“GGM is a Non-Governmental, Non-Religious, Non-Political, and Non-Tribal organization,” said Shuaibu-Gara. He emphasized that the movement was formed in 2025 to support values that promote unity and growth across the state.
GGM is guided by the following characteristics:

2. Community Development
3. Environmental Protection
4. Entrepreneurship Support
The available volunteer positions include:
a. Deputy State Co-ordinator
b. Zonal Representative – North
c. Zonal Representative – Central
d. Zonal Representative – South
e. Local Government Representatives (All 11 LGAs)
f. Ward Representatives (All 114 Wards)
g. Head of Department – Elders/Senior Citizens
h. Head of Department – Women and Gender
i. Head of Department – Youth and Sports
j. Head of Department – Education and Creative Economy
k. Head of Department – Entrepreneurship and Business Development
l. Head of Department – Media and Public Communication
m. Head of Department – Events Management and Logistics
n. Head of Department – Institutional Liaison
o. Head of Department – General Administration and Welfare Services
p. Head of Department – Community and Heritage Services
q. Chief Security Officer
r. Secretariat Services Manager
s. Catering Manager
t. Facility Manager
