The IGR Initiative, in partnership with DataFronteira Ltd, has announced the launch of a nationwide data collection project aimed at improving evidence-based decision-making on Internally Generated Revenue strategies at the sub-national level in Nigeria.
According to the organisers, the exercise will involve the recruitment of qualified Field Supervisors and Enumerators who will be responsible for facilitating high-quality data gathering across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The recruitment is open to both individuals and organizations across Nigeria, and successful applicants will be chosen strictly on merit, experience, and alignment with the project’s objectives,” the IGR Initiative stated.
Selected candidates will undergo mandatory training and are required to remain available throughout the data collection period.
This step, according to the initiative, is to ensure accuracy and credibility in the information gathered for policy development and revenue improvement.
Eligibility requirements:
i. Applicants must be at least 20 years old
ii. Minimum of a degree in any relevant field
iii. Experience in surveys or data collection projects is an added advantage.
iv. Familiarity with digital data collection tools, preferably Google Forms
v. Have a valid means of identification.
vi. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
vii. Must reside in the State capital and be familiar with the local language
