September 15, 2025 – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the opening of its online portal, INEC PRES, for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff ahead of the 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.
According to INEC, the registration is for eligible individuals to apply for positions such as Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs), and RAC Managers.

1. Applicants must not be a political party member.
Applicants must not have demonstrated
2. or expressed support for any candidate or party.
3. Applicants must reside in the STATE selected except for RATECHs who are INEC staff.
4. The recruitment is open to residents of Anambra, Delta, Enugu, and Imo states.
The portal will be open for three weeks, from Monday, September 15 to Sunday, October 5, 2025.
