The Kaduna State Government has announced the recruitment of qualified instructors for the newly established Kaduna State Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development (IVTSD). According to the state’s official portal, the recruitment exercise is now open and available to eligible candidates across all three campuses within the state.
“There are vacancies for qualified professionals to join the training team at IVTSD,” the statement read. “Applicants are advised to apply only through the official recruitment portal.” The government also warned that it has not appointed any agents or representatives to contact applicants directly.
Available positions include:
1. Center manager
2. POP/P and D Instructor
3. Mason Instructor
4. Tiling Instructor
5. Plumbing Instructor
6. Carpentry & Joinery Instructor
7. Welding & Fabrication Instructor
8. Electrical Installation Instructor
9. Aluminum Fabrication Instructor
10. Refrigeration & AC Instructor
11. Solar Installation Instructor
12. Computer Hardware Repairs and Maintenance Instructor
13. Mechatronics Instructor
14. Catering & Hospitality Instructor
15. Fashion Design Instructor
General requirements for all roles are as follows:
1. A relevant Competency/Industry Certificate in selected vocation
2. A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng), or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
3. Possession of Quality Assurance Assessor (QAA) is an added advantage
4. 2 to 20 years of relevant working experience, depending on the vocation applied for
5. Demonstrated strong leadership, operational management, and digital skills
