The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has opened application portal to train youths from the Niger Delta Region under its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Conversion Programme, in line with its mandate to build human capacity across the region.

The Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Conversion Training Programme is designed to equip beneficiaries with practical and employable skills in Autogas Conversion Technology. The programme is expected to support the development of a more reliable and sustainable transportation sector while creating new job opportunities for trained participants.

NDDC stated that the initiative will “stimulate economic growth through job creation and increased demand for Autogas specialists,” while also supporting efforts to reduce harmful emissions. The programme aligns with its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability within the Niger Delta.
