The Northern Agribusiness Development Initiative (NADI) has officially announced the recruitment of Enumerators to support its expanding agricultural programs across Northern Nigeria. The initiative, established in 2023, is focused on transforming the region’s agricultural system through modern techniques, strategic partnerships, and community empowerment.
According to NADI’s management, this recruitment is part of efforts to strengthen food security and enhance agricultural productivity across rural areas. “We are committed to equipping local communities with the tools and knowledge to scale agricultural development. Enumerators will be at the heart of this mission,” the organization stated.
The recruited Enumerators will carry out important tasks such as identifying farmers and farming groups, conducting structured interviews, and using digital tools like ODK and KoboToolbox to collect accurate agricultural data. They will also help raise awareness and mobilize support within rural communities, boosting interest in agribusiness.
NADI emphasized that the Enumerator role offers several benefits. Successful applicants will receive hands-on training in data collection techniques, real-time experience in a development-driven agricultural program, and the opportunity to connect with experts, NGOs, and partner institutions. “It’s more than a job – it’s a chance to drive change in agriculture,” NADI highlighted.
Eligible candidates must be at least 25 years old, fluent in local languages, and familiar with using smartphones, mobile apps, and internet tools. Prior experience in data collection or community outreach is considered a plus. Candidates must also own a compatible smartphone or tablet and be able to travel within their Local Government Area (LGA).
