September 15, 2025 – PalmPay has announced the launch of the second edition of its Hustle Grant competition, tagged the Anniversary Special, aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs and small business owners in Nigeria with a grant of N500,000.
Recall that the first edition of the PalmPay Hustle Grant rewarded three winners with N500,000 each to grow their businesses.
According to PalmPay, the initiative is designed to back what it calls “Nigeria’s real MVPs, the hustlers, the doers, the dream chasers.” The grant targets people running small businesses, side hustles, and creative ventures.
In this second edition, eligible participants include bakers, food vendors, tailors, traders, online sellers, creatives, and anyone chasing a dream.
Participants in the first edition were asked to create a 60-second video explaining why they love PalmPay, what their business is about, why they need support, and how winning N500,000 would transform their hustle. Entries were posted on Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter with the hashtag #PalmPayHustleGrant while tagging PalmPay’s official social media handles.
However, for the Anniversary Special, PalmPay has stated that previous participants whose entries were not among the finalists can enter again.
The company explained the new rules:
1. Visit the link in bio to submit your entry
2. Share the link to your submitted entry on your social media page
3. Use the hashtag “PalmPayHustleGrant” and tag us
“Voting starts immediately you drop your entry,” PalmPay added, encouraging participants to mobilize friends and family. Entries close on September 25.
