Sterling Bank has officially launched the Sterling Non-Oil Export Academy, a new platform aimed at empowering Nigerian businesses to succeed in the global export market.
This initiative was unveiled at the closing edition of the Excel in Non-Oil Export event held in Lagos.
“The Sterling Non-Oil Export Academy is designed to provide expert advisory services and hands-on training for exporters seeking to thrive in the non-oil export space,” the bank stated.
The overall goal is to accelerate Nigeria’s non-oil export growth and support economic diversification.
Acting as a meeting point for all players in the export ecosystem, established and aspiring exporters, regulators, financiers, aggregators, manufacturers, and logistics providers, the academy aims to spark bold conversations and build vital trade connections. It is part of a broader effort to chart a new path for Nigeria’s trade expansion.
According to the organizers, “The academy will offer a comprehensive blend of hands-on training and tailored advisory services to both new and existing non-oil exporters.”
Participants will receive guidance on export processes, compliance, financial planning, and market access.
