The Department of Brand Management and Marketing has concluded the #AriseAgendaInMyCommunity Challenge, launched to celebrate the second anniversary of Governor Pastor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda.
The initiative encouraged indigenes and residents of Akwa Ibom to showcase projects and interventions by the Umo Eno administration in their communities while competing for significant cash prizes.
According to the organisers, all entries submitted across approved social media platforms were collated and assessed fairly. “The winning entries were selected based on the number of projects or interventions covered, with extra points for showcasing more than one project,” the department stated.
They further explained that the quality of narration played a vital role, with judges looking for insights into the impact of the projects on the community. Social media engagement was also a key factor, as “entries with organic engagements were considered,” the department noted.
In addition, only submissions received before the deadline were evaluated. The department confirmed that the winners will be announced by midday, urging the public to “watch this space” for the final results.
