Good news to all farmers. The Bank of Agriculture (BOA) has officially opened its Farmers’ Account Registration Portal. This special account gives farmers access to agricultural loans, grants, and other government-supported programs designed to boost agribusiness and rural development.
In a notice issued to all Agro-Input Dealers and Suppliers with pending NAGS-AP claims, the message reads:
“Dear Agro-Input Dealer/Supplier,
His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, through the National Agricultural Growth Scheme and Agro-Pocket (NAGS-AP) Secretariat, has directed that all agro-input dealers and suppliers with pending claims must open an account with the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) in order to receive payment.”
All affected dealers and suppliers are required to open a BOA account immediately. The process is free of charge and can be completed online through https://internetbankingbusiness.bankofagriculture.com/.
During registration, applicants will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) by email. Those who do not see it are advised to check their spam or junk folder. Once the BOA account becomes active, pending claims will be processed within one business day.
The notice also warns that failure to comply with this directive may result in payment delays or inability to process claims. All agro-dealers and suppliers are therefore urged to act promptly to ensure seamless processing of their payments.
For further enquiries or assistance, beneficiaries may contact the Secretariat through the official email: nagsscheme@boanig.com.
This notice is issued for immediate compliance.
