BPP Releases 2025 Batch A Training Shortlisted Candidates

The Bureau of Public Procurement has announced the release of shortlisted candidates for Batch A of the Mandatory Continuous Public Procurement Capacity Development Training Programme for the 2025 cycle. The programme is designed by the Federal Government to strengthen institutional capacity across the procurement cadre in the Federal Civil Service. According to the Bureau, this initiative aligns with Part II, Section 5(k and s) of the Public Procurement Act 2007. The agency stated that all officers who submitted their credentials are to “visit the BPP’s website on www.bpp.gov.ng to check for the names of Shortlisted Candidates for Batch A.”

The training will take place at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Centre for Skills Development and Training located on Omagwa-Igwuruta Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The programme is scheduled to run from Sunday, 23rd November 2025, to Saturday, 13th December 2025.

The Bureau released detailed instructions for all shortlisted candidates. They are advised to complete the registration form via the provided link, print it, and submit it at the registration venue. The statement noted that “registration must be completed on or before Saturday, November 22, 2025.” Candidates are also expected to check their email for a pre-training assignment, which must be submitted online before Sunday, 23rd November 2025, and as a hard copy at the desk on Monday, 24th November 2025.

Registration will start on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, while training will commence the following day and run until 13th December. The Bureau explained that all lecture materials will be sent electronically, stating that “no hard copies” will be provided. Participants must attend with personal computers that have internet access, along with writing materials. A valid medical fitness certificate from a recognized government health institution is required.

Candidates must also complete registration with the Nigerian Procurement Certification Programme through its official website. The Bureau emphasized that completing the NCPC module is a pre-condition for issuing the Conversion or Induction Certificate. Accommodation is expected to be at the PTDF Centre or nearby facilities, with inquiries directed to the provided phone contact.

The Bureau added that agencies with shortlisted officers will handle their welfare and subsistence. Each participant must present an official release letter signed by their department head. Those in the programme will be exempted from other duties during the training period. Participants must submit a sworn affidavit confirming the authenticity of their documents and pay a non-refundable fee of N100,000, with details sent via email.

The Bureau confirmed that only those whose names appear on the official list will be allowed to attend. It also announced that Batch B names will be released in January 2026 on the BPP website. The notice was signed by Dr. Adebowale A. Adedokun, Director-General and CEO of the Bureau of Public Procurement.
