CAF is actively recruiting a new Executive Director – Central Zone for the Union des Fédérations de Football d’Afrique Centrale (UNIFFAC), with the office to be established in Libreville, Gabon.

This leadership position is a critical part of CAF’s regional strategy and will focus on transforming football operations in Central Africa. According to CAF, the selected candidate will be responsible for “setting up and operationalizing the Zonal Union office,” which includes managing staffing, financial systems, logistics, and ensuring compliance with both CAF and local legal regulations. The organization is also seeking someone who can bring international standards to its administrative processes.

“The Executive Director will serve as CAF’s primary regional representative and liaison with Member Associations,” a CAF statement read. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, while knowledge of Portuguese or local African languages is considered an added advantage.

The role offers competitive employment benefits, including an excellent pension plan and a chance to work with a globally respected sports organization. It is open to candidates willing to relocate to Libreville and travel frequently within the region. “We are offering an interesting and varied job in an exciting and innovative organization,” CAF emphasized in its job release.

Qualified candidates are invited to apply before the July 19, 2025 deadline.
