The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy (FMACTCE), in partnership with D3ONE and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, has announced a call for applications from Nigerian art galleries to participate in the prestigious Abu Dhabi Art Fair 2025.

This initiative marks a significant cultural milestone for Nigeria’s creative industry, offering a rare opportunity for both established and emerging Nigerian artists to be represented on a global platform. According to the Ministry, “This collaboration is a strategic effort to position Nigerian art on one of the world’s most respected stages for contemporary creativity.”

Six Nigerian galleries will be selected—three showcasing emerging artists and three representing established talents. This division, according to organizers, ensures a balanced representation of the dynamic range in Nigeria’s visual art scene. The selected galleries will have the chance to exhibit their works, engage international art collectors, and attract new audiences from across the globe.
