The Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is inviting experienced individuals and organizations from all 36 states of Nigeria to apply as data collectors for the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Performance Leaderboard.

According to WEP, “The GESI Performance Leaderboard aims to assess and rank the efforts of the sub-national governments to ensure gender-responsive and inclusive governance.”

This initiative is designed to promote equal participation and inclusive decision-making across all levels of government. By focusing on inclusive policies, the GESI Performance Leaderboard helps improve resource management and ensures that the needs of every group in society are considered.

WEP explained that “A gender-responsive and inclusive government will ensure better management of resources, taking into account the needs of everyone, thereby leaving no one behind.” This effort is in line with high-impact development goals and supports sustainable governance.

WEP is calling for applicants who have experience in collecting gender data or working with gender-focused programs.
