The College of Agriculture, Science and Technology (CAST), Obubra, Cross River State, has announced fresh admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. Gabriel Ojie Osang, the institution invited qualified candidates to apply for its diverse academic programmes designed to equip students with practical skills in agriculture, science, and technology.
Dr. Osang stated that all academic programmes offered by the College have been fully approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). He assured prospective students and parents that the institution operates with full accreditation and follows national academic standards.
He disclosed that application forms are now available online. According to him, interested applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Twenty-Five Thousand Naira (₦25,000.00) only into the College account with United Bank for Africa (UBA), Account Number: 1028613027, Account Name: College of Agriculture.
The Registrar explained that proof of payment, completed application forms, and relevant credentials must be uploaded through the College portal at www.castobubra.ng/applications. He urged candidates to carefully follow all application guidelines to avoid errors during submission.
The available ND programmes include Animal Health and Production, Forestry and Environmental Technology, Fisheries Technology, Horticulture and Landscape Technology, Computer Science Technology, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and a Pre-National Diploma/Remedial Programme.
At the HND level, the College offers Animal Production Technology, Crop Production Technology, Fisheries Technology, Forestry Technology, Agri-Business Management, and Agricultural Extension and Management.
Beyond the diploma programmes, CAST also provides certificate courses in Veterinary Clinic Assistant, Forest/Game Management, Beekeeping and Honey Production, Fingerlings Production, Mushroom Production, and Snail Farming.

He further stated that the sale of application forms began on Monday, 16th February 2026, and will close on Tuesday, 17th March 2026, at midnight.
