The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a new update regarding its 2025 recruitment exercise.
Recall that the CDCFIB temporarily suspended the recruitment portal until July 21.
In a statement released today, July 20th, 2025, the board has said, “Kindly be informed that applicants who have successfully initiated their applications are advised to retrieve their applications and complete their applications they have initiated.”
This update comes after a temporary interruption in the application process. CDCFIB explained that the delay was caused by a high volume of applications.
“It was necessary to enhance the system to ensure it can accommodate all applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless, transparent, and equitable recruitment process,” the statement read.
The recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng will reopen on Monday, July 21st, 2025. The board emphasized that “this application is absolutely free at all stage.”
