June 14, 2025 – In a recent Facebook survey by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Nigerians were asked: “If The Career Portal could only be opened today for just one Service, Which Service would you rather see the Board activate recruitment opening for?”
The options provided were Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
Results from the CDCFIB Recruitment Survey show that the majority of participants voted in favour of the Nigeria Immigration Service, suggesting high public expectation for its recruitment portal to open soon.
Meanwhile, several Facebook users asked about Federal Fire Service recruitment. Responding to this, CDCFIB said: “We appreciate your interest to serve with the Federal Fire Service, however, a fresh recruitment into the FFS is not in view consequent to the already existing process that is not concluded.”

The survey also included NSCDC, confirming the likelihood of a new Nigeria Civil Defence recruitment exercise, as earlier hinted by the Board.
