The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has finally released an update after a long period of silence, easing the tension among applicants who have been waiting for news about the ongoing recruitment exercise. However, the new statement does not announce any shortlist or training date but instead serves as a reminder about upcoming updates and notifications regarding the next stages of the process. This comes after weeks of speculations and misleading posts that circulated widely on social media platforms.
In its official statement, the Board said, “The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) wishes to remind all candidates participating in the ongoing recruitment exercise that the Board remains firmly committed to a transparent, seamless and completely free recruitment process at no financial cost to applicants.”
This statement appears to reassure applicants that they have not been forgotten, urging them to remain patient while awaiting further communication. The CDCFIB also advised all candidates to rely solely on official platforms for accurate information. “Applicants are strongly advised to rely only on official CDCFIB communication channels for authentic updates and notifications regarding the next stages of the exercise, which will be announced soon. Candidates are further warned to beware of fraudsters who may attempt to exploit unsuspecting job seekers through false claims or financial demands,” the statement added.
The Board emphasised its dedication to fairness, integrity, and accountability throughout every stage of the recruitment process. It restated that no applicant would be asked to pay a fee, share personal banking details, or make any financial contribution to advance in the recruitment.
Nigeriastartupact.ng previously reported viral claims circulating on CDCFIB recruitment training exercise and CDCFIB shortlist rumours spread after the August promotion exams.
Applicants are urged to stay vigilant, remain informed, and report any suspicious activity or request for payment to security authorities for immediate action.
