Applications are set to open soon for the 2026/2027 Charity Kpabep Scholarship Programme (CKSP), a major opportunity designed to support female manufacturing engineers and technicians across Nigeria. Following a successful 2025 close-out, the programme returns through a collaboration between the National Ozone Office of the Federal Ministry of Environment, UNIDO, and SWETS Nigeria.
This initiative will identify 20 outstanding female engineering students from Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones and equip them to become future leaders in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) sector. The focus remains on building technical capacity, increasing female representation in manufacturing, and strengthening Nigeria’s green and sustainable cooling industry.
Selected beneficiaries will receive full tuition support and monthly stipends, alongside brand new laptops and Android phones. Participants will also benefit from specialized RAC technical training, global mentorship opportunities, SWE membership, and structured internship and career pathways within the industry.
Eligibility is open to Nigerian residents under the age of 40. Applicants will be required to submit a 30–60 second video answering the question “Why me?” in MP4 or MOV format (maximum 10MB). In addition, candidates must complete the online application form and upload all required documents in a single PDF file not exceeding 10MB.
The submission portal remains closed until April 1, 2026, and will close on April 22, 2026.
