The Cross River State Government through the Office of the Special Assistant Youth Initiatives Monitoring and Delivery, Office of the Chief of Staff, has announced the Central Youth Innovation Marathon scheduled for September 20, 2025.
The event will take place at Ikom Township Stadium from 7:00 AM. According to the organizers, the marathon is themed “Run with your mind, win with your heart.”
Registration for participants is free and currently ongoing at all LGA headquarters in Central Cross River State.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging youth development, creativity, and innovation through sports and entertainment.
Prizes include:
i. 1st Place – ₦1,000,000
ii. 2nd Place – ₦500,000
iii. 3rd Place – ₦250,000
The event will also feature exhibitions, cultural displays, live music, DJ battles, and giveaways.
