Dangote Cement Plc has officially announced the opening of applications for its 2025 Graduate Trainee Technical Engineers Knowledge Transfer Programme, also referred to as the Technical & Technical Support GT Program. The company described the initiative as a rare chance for young graduates to begin their careers with one of the leading cement manufacturers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The programme will run for 18 months and will expose participants to different cement plants and operational locations. According to Dangote Cement Plc, trainees will gain hands-on experience, shadow professionals, undergo cross-training, and build practical skills that will prepare them for long-term success in the cement manufacturing industry.
Outlined responsibilities include the availability to learn and retain knowledge, job shadowing, research, data analysis, and report writing. The company stated that applicants for the technical track must hold a first degree or higher diploma in chemical, production, or mining engineering, geological sciences, laboratory sciences, or biochemistry. For the technical support track, candidates must have studied mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or power engineering.
Other requirements specify that candidates must have graduated between 2022 and 2024, completed the NYSC program by October 2025, and must not be above 28 years by October 31, 2025. The minimum academic standard is a second-class lower degree or HND upper credit.
