The Emperor Idogbe Matthew Adewale Foundation, in partnership with the Federation of Ogbomoso Student’s Union (National Council), has announced application for disbursement of students’ bursary and alleviation stipends. The disbursement is scheduled for December 29, 2025.
According to the Foundation, “This initiative is targeted at supporting students from Ogbomoso and ensuring that financial hardship does not affect their education.”
The bursary is open to students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions who are indigenes of Ogbomoso South, Ogbomoso North, Oriire, Ogo-Oluwa, or Surulere Local Government Areas of Oyo State.
Eligibility Requirements:
i. The person must be a present student of any tertiary institution as of present.
ii. The student must be from either Ogbomoso South, Ogbomoso North, Oriire, Ogo-Oluwa or Surulere Local Government of Oyo State.
iii. It is an advantage if the student is a resident of the soil.
iv. The student must be a financial member of FOGSU (Federation of Ogbomoso Students Union) National Council
The required documents will be:
i. School ID Card
ii. Admission Letter
iii. Local Government ID
iv. NIN
All this document will be uploaded during registration. The registration is open to the 5 local Government of Ogbomoso solely.
Online application runs from July 18, 2025, to October 10, 2025. Vetting and application sorting will take place between October 13 and November 7. Shortlisting of successful applicants is set for November 17, 2025.
