The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owo in Ondo State, has officially announced the commencement of its one-year Internship Training Programme for qualified graduates in the health sector. This was made known through an internal and external advertisement released by the management on 10th November 2025, with reference number FMC/OW/30/Vol. III/178.
According to the notice, “Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for One (01) year Internship Training Programme in the following Departments: Physiotherapy, Pharmaceutical Services, Radiography, Medical Laboratory Science, and Nursing Services.”
The management explained that applicants must possess a B.Sc. or B.NSc. degree or equivalent qualification in their area of discipline, alongside provisional registration with their professional boards. They must also provide evidence of a current provisional practising licence.
Successful candidates will be required to perform medical duties as outlined in the Schemes of Service of their respective departments. The notice further added, “Interns will also take part in call duties and any other official assignments as directed by the Management.”
Interested candidates are advised to submit their application letters, Curriculum Vitae, and credentials addressed to the Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State. The closing date for submission is four weeks from the date of publication, on or before 12:00 noon, Monday, 8th December 2025.
The management confirmed that the condition of service remains as applicable in other tertiary health institutions across the country. The circular was signed by Oyajumo, E. A. (Mrs.), for the Medical Director.
