The federal government has commenced payment of the N30,000 monthly stipend for the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) programme to trainees. Those who attended the training and uploaded their bank account details on the portal are now receiving credit alerts of N30,000.

Eligible trainees have confirmed that they have been paid, with social media, especially Facebook, being flooded with posts like “Payment of N30,000 NDE stipends has commenced.” The payment of the NDE stipend to trainees began on December 3.

As gathered by Nigeria Startup News, one of the viral SMS message reads:

This massive disbursement of NDE stipends is going to trainees who have uploaded their bank details and have been participating at their various training centres. The development comes after NDE notified participants in November trained under the second phase of RHEI to upload their bank account details through the NDE Portal using their Registration ID. The agency explained the step as necessary to ensure smooth processing and prepare participants for payments.

NDE applicants who still see “Pending” on their dashboard are not eligible for this stipend. Such applicants are advised to continue checking their dashboard until their status changes to Approved, while those with Invalid ID error should contact their State’s NDE for assistance.
