The Federal Government has commenced the revalidation process for applicants under the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) Loan 3.0, with fresh lists of shortlisted FarmerMoni candidates now being released across local government areas nationwide.
The exercise is targeted at applicants who registered for the N300,000 FarmerMoni loan scheme, as authorities begin updating beneficiary records ahead of the next phase of disbursement.
Revalidation now ongoing in LGAs
According to updates from coordinators overseeing the programme in various local government areas, applicants whose names appear on the newly released PDF lists are required to present themselves for data revalidation through designated enumerators.
The lists are currently being made available through Local Government Secretariat offices, where shortlisted applicants can confirm their status.
Applicants whose names appear are expected to visit the assigned revalidation officials with the following details:
- Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Registered phone number used during application
In many cases, enumerators are also contacting shortlisted applicants directly by phone to invite them for the revalidation exercise.
What the revalidation means
Programme officials clarified that appearance on the revalidation list does not automatically mean an applicant has been selected as a final beneficiary for loan disbursement.
Rather, the current stage is meant to update and verify applicant records before final approvals are made.
This phase applies specifically to individuals who submitted FarmerMoni applications about three years ago under the earlier batch of the scheme.
Officials also noted that the separate GEEP applications submitted only a few months ago are not part of the current exercise, as their shortlist has not yet been released.
FG says more shortlisted batches will follow
In a related update, the Federal Government congratulated applicants who have already received approval notifications under the FarmerMoni programme, confirming that they belong to the current batch of shortlisted candidates.
However, authorities urged those whose names have not yet appeared on the released lists not to panic, noting that the selection process is being conducted in phases.
According to the update, additional batches of shortlisted applicants will be published in subsequent releases.
How to complete GEEP revalidation
Applicants confirmed on the list can complete or verify their revalidation through the official GEEP portal:
GEEP Revalidation Portal: https://geep.nsipa.gov.ng/
After successful revalidation, applicants are expected to receive an SMS confirmation message stating:
“Dear Candidate, your FarmerMoni application has been successfully re-validated. Thank you for your continued participation. – GEEP”
Background

The ongoing Loan 3.0 revalidation is seen as a key step toward finalising the next round of beneficiary approvals and disbursements.
