The Federal Government has announced a major digital empowerment initiative under the Renewed Hope Agenda. The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Nentawe G. Yilwatda, disclosed this on Tuesday, stating, “Today, we sealed a transformative partnership with @dbi_ng and @SBTSGroup, Washington, to power Nigeria’s National Digital Training Drive.”

The program aims to equip Nigerian youth and vulnerable groups with globally relevant digital skills, opening doors to high-demand careers in digital entrepreneurship, remote work, and overseas employment. The Minister added, “This is more than a training program, it is a movement to empower, include, and uplift.”

DBI will offer world-class tech training, while SBTS will implement its Intelligent Capacity Building Model. The Ministry will lead with strong policy direction and integrate the program into the national poverty reduction framework.
