June 25, 2025 – The Federal Government has officially reconfirmed its approval for the recruitment and promotion into the services under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
This was disclosed in an official statement by the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, on Tuesday, 25th June 2025.
“The Board has given the necessary green lights for the review and full implementation of recruitment and promotion into the four services under the Ministry of Interior,” the Minister stated.
He also assured that the 35 percent slot allocation for female applicants will be fully respected during the upcoming recruitment exercise.

The Minister explained that the move is part of the ongoing modernisation efforts to boost operations, professionalism, recruitment, training, promotion, and technology development across the services.
